Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Drilling & Equipping of One (1) Borehole and Installation of Borehole Hybrid Power System, Construction of Two

1. The Intergovernmental Authority on Development “IGAD” has received financing from the

African Development Fund hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Programme in the Horn of Africa -Project II (DRSLP II). Save the Children International as an Implementing Agency (IA) intends to apply part of the proceeds of the project toward payments under the contract for Drilling & Equipping of One (1)

Borehole and Installation of Borehole Hybrid Power System, Construction of Two Rural Water Kiosks, Caretaker room & Laying 1.3KM Pipelines of various sizes at Qardho, Karkaar region, Puntland.

1. Save the Children International, Somalia Country Office now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Drilling & Equipping of One (1) Borehole and Installation of Borehole Hybrid Power

System, Construction of Two Rural Water Kiosks, Caretaker room & Laying 1.3KM Pipelines of various sizes at Qardho, Karkaar region, Puntland within 5-month completion period.

1. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (National), OCBN procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework dated October, 2015 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Save the Children International, Somalia Country Office via email – sci.drslpii@savethechildren.org and inspect the Bidding document during office hours at the address given below.
3. The Bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a request via email tosci.drslpii@savethechildren.org quoting IFB reference DRSLPII/PL/W18/OCBN/015/2022 LOT 3 in the subject line. Interested bidders who require a printed hard copy of the Bidding document may obtain the document upon submission of a receipt showing payment of a non – refundable fee of USD 25 (USD Twenty-five) for reproduction and mailing costs. The method of payment will be direct payment to SCI Garowe office in Garowe town.

Note: The bidding documents sent via email will not require payment of fees.
